Therapeutic Support for Children and Young People
Play therapy is a way of supporting children with a wide range of difficulties that are causing them distress or might show themselves through worrying behaviour. Children might find it hard to articulate what is going on in their head. Play therapy works with the child's inner world using play and creative arts as the primary language a child communicates with.
Play therapy is a child friendly, evidence-based approach to working with children who are struggling.
Creative Arts Counselling
As children get older they are more likely to be able to talk about what is going on for them. Creative arts counselling combines child centred talking therapy with the creative arts to help children and young people work through issues that are causing them distress.
